About

Finding purpose through creativity

Hi, I'm Laura! I'm Italian, but London has been my home for over 5 years.

After 15 years in digital marketing, I found myself at a crossroads. A career change in 2025 gave me the opportunity to reflect on what mattered most and to reconnect with something that had always been a passion of mine: Art.

What began as a personal creative practice soon became something more. I started volunteering with Art Explora, visiting care homes to spark conversations around paintings and shared memories. Later, I joined the Together Better project, where I began running weekly Arts and Crafts sessions for older adults and people with learning disabilities.

Month by month, I saw the difference creative activities can make. A quiet resident finding their voice through painting stones, someone convinced they "weren't artistic" discovering new confidence, a room full of strangers becoming a lovely community.

Those moments shaped the workshops I want to offer today: welcoming, accessible creative sessions that encourage connection, self-expression, and a sense of belonging.

"The value of art isn't in the finished piece. It's in the memories, conversations, and confidence it can inspire."

What a workshop looks like

Every session is different. Here's a glimpse of what happens when people make things together.

Reduces isolation: shared making creates natural conversation and connection, especially for those living alone or in residential care.

Improves mental wellbeing: creative flow states lower anxiety and bring a sense of calm, accomplishment, and joy.

Why Art works

Builds confidence: everyone can make something. Witnessing that, often for the first time in decades, is genuinely transformative.

No experience needed: every workshop is designed for complete beginners. The focus is always on the process, never the result.

How it works

It starts with a conversation

Whether you're an organisation or a private individual, the process is straightforward and there's no obligation.

1

Get in touch

Drop me an email, and tell me a little about your setting, your group, and what you're hoping to offer them. There's no commitment at this stage, just a conversation.

2

I'll put together a proposal

Based on what you need (group size, session length, frequency, and location), I'll come back to you with a quotation. Sessions are priced per workshop and always include all materials. I typically respond within 48 hours.

3

We run a first session

Many organisations start with a one-off session to see how participants respond before committing to a regular programme. That's absolutely fine, and it's usually when people want to book more.

4

We take it from there

Regular weekly or monthly sessions, a short series, a one-off event, whatever works for your setting. I'm flexible and happy to discuss ongoing contracts, private bookings or social prescribing partnerships.
